Glee a surprisingly good show

Friday and Saturday, spent the free time watching "Glee" was pleasantly surprised. Been hearing great things about the show and decided to see what the talk was about. Had seen a fairly stunning statistic that the show had been capturing a fair number of people in the 18-49 graphic range. Not unusual to get that 18-30 or 25-35 range but to have such an overlap is very unusual.

With that preface, I delve into my blog, haha. I liked the dynamic of the show blending or "mashing" as they called it on the show, of songs from 70-80's and new songs into a beautiful combination. Had heard the glee club had sung a incredible version of "Don't Stop Believing" and saw it and it was beautifully done.

I also like the diversity of the group as a whole, jocks and cheerleaders mingling with less popular, alternative life style guy mingling with minorities. Each taking the time to reach out and really becoming a group that depends on each other and showing genuine respect for one another.

The leader of the group realizes that bringing a group together as diverse as this is potentially a whole lot of trouble and dangerous but has incredible upside as well.

So, there is drama, there is a group coming together that by the world's standards has no right to work together and people hoping, just as in real life, that the team will fall apart and not be able to succeed. Sound familiar?!? To me it sounds like alot of life in general, got drama, us succeeding together and the haters who hope we fail and sink to their level, so check out the show, sing along and cheer for a show that is fairly good look at life and learn the life lessons that are there for us to see as we watch n sing.
