Mickey D's and randomness

Watched the finale for Bachelor last night, several thoughts occurred to me, none favorable toward the show, so for those who love bachelor, you may want to stop reading, but if you can stand criticism and questioning of the show, continue reading.

First, the word Love is tossed around way too casually and too much. The guy Jake must have said the word 100 plus times on the 3 hr show. Not to mention the times the ladies said it. At on point, he said that he loved both women. Impossible says I. He confused attraction and desire for love. Easy to do, love is a deeper commitment, given to one person, not multiple persons as happens on bachelor, this is why show participants never survive in the relationships that occur on show and probably never will...substituting attraction and desire for love and building on those. Physical attraction is great, but building on it as Jake did with one girl, just b/c she has breasts and butt and used them to desire her is no way to strengthen a relationship. Tenley had beauty, character, charm and more to offer than a stripper's body and not muc else as other girl did.

Second, both girls showed desperation on a show that feeds off those emotions and for a "reality" show, how real is it for 25 of one sex to be pursuing 1 of the other sex?!? Doesn't happen, naturally and realistically there might be several relationships going, but really maybe one or two leading to more serious level, not 25 and eliminating on down. Reality shows are not remotely grounded in reality, so understand appeal there, it gives average looking girls opportunity to live out fantasy through favorite contestants.

Ok onto fun topic: Mickey D's. Was in there around 7 am , getting sausage egg mcmuffin w/cheese and coffee. Sat down, watching people come and go, rushing to wherever they needed to be, so much hurrying. Anyways, this guy in a wheelchair comes up, and starts chatting me up, and askign what I was up to. He then needed a cup of water to take some pills with and asked a guy who worked there for one, guy says there's a charge, guy asks why and wants to talk to mgr. Mgr ignores him, so he asks to use my phone and calls and asks for corporate number, but getsd owner's number instead. Now it would have been easier and is going to be less messy to just give guy cup of water, but McDonald's will be stupid and kinda typical for businesses today and not give good customer service. Why, because it can, simply through fact people don't complain enough to make change, but from determination, similar to my own on problems like this, the guy who was angry, is going to make effort to bring this to people's attention. Well looks like you will be getting some real bad press Mickie D's. Sloppy, but typical. Customer service is a misnomer, it's what's best for company first and foremost and that is sad commentary on life today.
