Chatroom etiqette

well working a new blog at requests of chatzy friends, and yes this is dedicated to "Britt's room" crew, love you all. Follow @thejessicaszohr and @ImBrittanySnow and remember #JessicaSzohrTuesday and #BrittanySnowWednesday.

I think we demonstrated what not to do in a chatroom tonight, the name calling, the swearing, the devisiveness toward each other. What is purpose of a chatroom, think about that for a moment, let it percolate in your mind. Quite simply, to chat with people who are of similar minds, common interests and discussions about life. When we sink to cursing each other out, talkign about another's sexuality or perceived weakness in another person, what does that accomplish, really?

We have such an amazing opportunity to learn and enjoy what another person brings to the chatroom. People from a completely different walk of life. Never pass that up if you can help it. Resist the temptation to close your mind or go into the chat with preconceived notions of what you want to "accomplish" instead go with the flow of the chat and see what you can learn.

Don't attack a person's religion, sexual preference, their identity or them personally. That to me and most everyone else is crossing the line of good chat etiqette. If you don't agree so be it, but don't let it get between you and that person and make it personal. As that old saying goes, "Disagree without being disagreeable" applies here.

Seek what you can learn, what you can bring to the conversation and have fun with each other.
