Glee season finale...what I learned

Watched the Glee season finale last night and came to the conclusion that it is pretty much the best and most dominant show on tv right now, falls into the Seinfeld, Cheers,24, Lost category, it is what everyone, even those who don't watch the show, end up talking about, wondering about...I learned or saw several items of interest last night, so let me dive in, in the deep end as usual...
1) The group: New Directions, which is the name of the group on Glee, for those uninititated or the non-watchers, showed in last night's episode that they truly love and care for each other, kind of a progression that had begun at beginning of the season. They even kind of had a "I learned this during the year" session together as they were watching the year and their hopes of staying together and not being disbanded, slowly disappear. The group went from a bunch of individuals with their own goals and dreams to a team that was unified even in face of guaranteed defeat. Wow, live and learn and watch the episode people, seriously.

2) Unity in face of defeat, sure defeat, the arch-nemisis of glee is Sue Sylvester who hates glee, the glee sponsor and pretty much anyone's dream that doesn't match up with her own. Sue has stated that there is no chance of the glee club surviving through regionals, yet the leader, leaders actual of glee realize, despite a guaranteed loss, their job is to do their best, present themselves with a professional decorum and not back down. How often would we actually choose to stand up for ourselves with knowledge of a sure loss?!? Probably if we were honest and realistic, not very often.

3) Courage, honor and not giving up on glee club, each other and not giving up on dreams. That is just a huge area that I think myself and a lot of other people do, give up on dreams or modify the dream to fit other's perception of the dream. Yet, glee club stood up for each other, stood up for group and stood up for dream that group had presented at beginning of year, to win and do best at regionals. The group didn't stoop to Sue's level and try to damage her reputation or anything at regionals. They conducted themselves with honor and grace, even knowing there was no way she would allow the club to live on beyond regionals, due to rigging the results.

4) Sue Sylvester not only putting "New Directions" at top of her voting but going to principal and forcing him to keep glee around for one more year, going against her original deal with Will Schuster of if glee lost at regionals, they would disband and glee practice room would become her personal trophy room. The heart of non-champions trying against impossible odds caused a change in heart for her, wow. Just a powerful episode and watching full season is a definite recommendation of mine...
