Hellcats this season's glee?!?

As you all probably have figured out, I enjoy glee, primarily for the lessons, life lessons, that I can learn and apply in my own life. I see the potential lessons coming out of what most of you all would say is an unlikely source... the CW's "Hellcats." I will do my best to explain and demonstrate why I think this show has potential to bring life lessons that Glee did last year.

Hellcats like Glee starts out with characters within the show, coming in with preconceived notions about the people around them. One of the main characters has her thoughts and ideas about what cheerleaders are all about and how "easy" it is to be a cheerleader. Other characters have their ideas of what this girls is all about and in both cases the characters are mistaken or wrong in their views of each other.

@ashleytisdale plays the head cheerleader, which if played as stereotyped in the past, would have her be playing arch-nemisis to her co-star: @78violet (Aly Michalka). But wisely the show starts out with her and Aly getting into a heated argument over the merits of cheerleading, and probably going "oh I know how this is going to play out..." But then it flips the script and has Ashley voting Aly onto the squad, to replace an injured cheerleader and then trying to learn more of how this incredibly talented and gifted tumbler wasn't a cheerleader already. Ashley's character has potential to be a bit more deep then normally played cheerleaders in the past, as she reveals, when she puts the team and what is best for the team, first, before and ahead of the past argument she had with Aly's character.

I will look forward to this show and how it can develop and show more lessons that each of us can apply in our daily lives, similarly to Glee's lessons on a weekly basis, last year. So watch and see if you agree, thanks.
